Customer TrainingAvionyx has invested heavily over the years into developing technical trainers and engineering training classes for our internal and customer needs. Our investment was recognized by RTCA by selecting our DO-254 training class to use as its official training class, taught at RTCA headquarters in Washington, DC. We also have a series of DO-178B training classes that can be customized for each customer’s needs and taught along with our DO-254 class at customer locations. Internal TrainingAs dictated by our ISO 9001/AS9100 Training & Awareness process, all staff engineers at our San Jose, Costa Rica engineering facility are required to take and pass each relevant technical training course before being permitted to perform any associated activities on a project. Internal training courses for quality assurance and project management also must be taken and passed prior to performing those roles on a project. Our senior engineers also act as domain experts in specific technical areas and develop and deliver regular advanced training classes on special topics as well as technical white papers to share with our customers. And since training is part of our culture at Avionyx, we continually invest into our most valuable resources – our employees by providing outside training as well, including ongoing English language classes, pilot ground school training and reimbursement for project management and other masters' degrees for our managers. |
