Avionyx maintains a fully equipped facility for V & V and software development. Our engineers and facilities are equipped with the latest technology, software tools and lab equipment. Outsourcing your project to our facility is a very cost effective solution. Does Avionyx provide engineers at my facility for my development and V & V project? Answer: Yes. Avionyx maintains a flexible staff that can assist your team at your facility with just one engineer or we can place an entire team at your facility. In some cases our on-site engineers will report directly to client's project manager, supplementing the client's staff. When we place an entire team at the client's facility we can also provide the project management. What information does Avionyx need to provide an estimate for my V & V project? Answer: With years of experience in the avionics industry we have compiled many metrics and find that the most effective tool to provide an estimate from are the Software Requirements. We combine this information with the certification level, lines of code, language and your desired schedule. The client is provided with a detailed schedule and estimate of hours. How will I track Avionyx progress on my project? Answer: Every project that Avionyx manages in house has a project manager assigned. The project manager provides the client with weekly status reports and a weekly conference call. Using these tools, the client will be kept informed of the scheduled progress and details of every task. This method has proven very effective on all of our projects and many clients comment that the project proceeded just as smoothly as their internal projects. What is the highest level system Avionyx has done? Answer: We have taken systems through certification at every level (A-D). |
