Administrative Assistant

Avionyx is an aerospace software engineering company operating in the America Free Trade Zone, Heredia.  We are looking for a person interested on a long-term career in the Operations area with additional exposure to Finance and Human Resources areas.     


Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate facility maintenance and operations 

  • Receive visitors and answering phone 

  • Maintain and purchase supplies 

  • Organize US travel arrangements

  • Provide support to the Human Resources and the Finance Departments 

  • Oversee PROCOMER free trade zone compliances:

  • Supporting annual audits

  • Maintaining fixed assets database 

  • Tracking imports/exports of high-tech equipment 

  • Tracking personnel trainings 


Due to the type of tasks performed on this position, it is required that the person works at our offices located in Heredia. 


Required skills include:

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills

  • Strong inter-personal skills and trustworthiness

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Great service orientation and task ownership

  • Proficiency working with Excel spreadsheets

  • Experience working as an administrative assistant or bilingual secretary is a plus. 


Desired skills:

  • Bilingual secretary or Business Administration studies (Advanced students are welcomed!)
