What will you learn?
Through initial and ongoing training and working with a team (including a mentor, technical leads, project manager and quality engineer), you will develop and expand your knowledge of complex, high tech systems and the software and hardware tools used to develop them.
What will you be doing?
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, each one requiring a team of software developers and engineers to develop and test embedded systems that must inter-communicate with and control a variety of complex aircraft systems.
How will you be doing it?
You will follow a clearly defined and rigorous process that complies with FAA and EASA regulations . You will learn how these systems work and how to simulate real-life inputs in the lab with sophisticated software and hardware tools to ensure they work in the air.

I have been part of Avionyx for almost six years. During all this time I have worked with hardware, software and even participated in the certification process of many interesting avionics devices. I am also part of the aviation program, where we learn how airplanes fly, how the systems interconnect, how it all works as a whole and also to take some ground school lectures and, if you're selected, be able to actually fly a real plane!
